...because we just launched this colorful, light-hearted, and celebratory visual brand identity for the fabulous Abidoodle Productions!
Abigail is a wedding videographer and all-around creative. She has a great eye and has done a fantastic job with her own DIY branding up until this point; however, she believed she needed a really solid + set-in-stone visual brand to take her business to the next level. She came to me in need of: "A cohesive look, something that signals to people who I am, and makes my brand recognizable, fun, and welcoming."
My goal was to give Abigail's visual brand some structure and variety, while keeping the feel of her brand fun, inclusive, and cheerful. I just knew that with a really cohesive set of visuals, she'd hit the ground running with the implementation of new social media and website graphics!
I gave her a bunch of really cohesive-yet-diverse graphic elements to plug-and-play with. She has a primary logo, logo variations, a submark + favicon, confetti + accents, wavy rainbows + lines, patterns, and even iconography – oh my! I also designed some brand collateral for her, including a custom email signature, header banners, and Instagram highlight icons.
With all of these fun elements to mix and match, my hope and dream is that Abigail never feels bored or limited with her branding. There are endless combinations and ways to spruce up graphics—but everything will still be super consistent and at-a-glance "Abidoodle".
And to be absolutely sure she’s confident implementing her new branding, I armed her with a comprehensive 18-page Brand Style Guide (which is basically a user manual for your brand!).

Why did you want a new visual brand?
After years of fumbling around to try and find my branding on my own, I was finally at a point in my career and with my finances to invest in a professional! I really wanted my branding to represent me, what I love, and what I do.
What was your favorite part of the branding process?
How collaborative Jenna is. Getting a new peek at each element was SO exciting, and Jenna was always so open to feedback.
What was the most challenging part of the branding process?
Honestly, it was freaking easy! I suppose if I had come in totally blind it might have been trickier to nail things down, but Jenna’s guidance made it so easy.
How did you feel before we started working together?
How do you feel now that your new brand has launched?

Yes, times a million.
What's your favorite part of your new brand?
When I look at my branding elements, there’s just some brain chemicals that light up. Like, I feel so genuine and authentic and warm and happy when I see it, and I can’t wait for that to translate to everyone else. I love how colorful it is!
What are the next steps for your business?
Figuring out what I want to do with my website, and integrating my branding elements into the everyday backend of things.
