A permanent jewelry sub-brand with its own flair.
Remember the visual branding I designed last year for Squirrel & Scout Co.? Well, there's nothing more fun than when a previous client comes back in need of a sub-brand!
Sarah began offering permanent jewelry at pop-ups and vendor shows along with her products from Squirrel & Scout Co; but felt like her boutique's branding just wasn't the right vibe for her permanent jewelry. She said, "The permanent jewelry is still a part of that business - but it's separate from my boutique and I'd like for it to be able to either stand alone or work cohesively with what I currently have.. does that make sense?" Absolutely it does!
We decided that a VIP Day was the best approach for her new sub-brand's identity. A VIP Day condenses the branding process into an intensive one-day session. Rather than spending weeks on a full branding suite, I collaborated with Sarah to come up with a new sub-brand in just 4–6 hours that would reflect her permanent jewelry—letting it "shine" in its own right!

We used the same typography from Squirrel & Scout Co. for the new logo to maximize cohesion and recognizability and incorporated a couple of the brand elements used in the parent brand. However, we also pared down the color palette and created brand marks, graphics, and patterns that are unique to Shine. I also found a super special brand font to further set Shine apart.
I'm in LOVE with what we came up with in just one VIP Day.
